The global pandemic has been devastating for India's street vendors and micro enterprises that have lost business, faced a cash crunch and stared at huge losses with multiple lockdowns across the country.

In an attempt to support this section and assist them to sail through these trying times, Haqdarshak provided last-mile support to 5000 such street vendors and micro-enterprises in accessing benefits of the stimulus package.

We did a detailed survey with 63 street vendors in Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat and Rajasthan out of the 5000 street vendors serviced to understand the impact generated by the Haqdarshak intervention & how access to welfare entitlements played a role in mitigating the challenges posed by the pandemic.
